About Me
About Me
Who am I?
This question has been asked for centuries—by philosophers, poets, and for a long time, by me. I used to struggle with this question, but design gave me a language to start answering it.

I’ve learned that I am a thinker, a maker, and a meaning-seeker. I design not just to solve problems, but to understand them—drawing connections between people, systems, and ideas. My work lives at the intersection of curiosity and intention, and through design, I’m always finding new ways to make sense of the world.
My Background
My path into design wasn't linear—it was something I discovered through exploration and grew passionate about over time.
At The University of Texas at Dallas, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC). ATEC is an interdisciplinary program that blends art, technology, design, engineering, science, and the humanities to develop innovative solutions. This program allowed me to explore various disciplines, fostering a holistic understanding of how different fields intersect and influence one another.

This diverse curriculum equipped me with a versatile skill set and a unique perspective on problem-solving. It taught me to approach challenges not just from a technical standpoint but also with an appreciation for cultural and humanistic contexts.

Along the way, I’ve worked across user research, visual storytelling, and systems thinking—bringing clarity to complex problems and empathy to every solution. I’m fluent in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, and collaborative whiteboards, but it’s the thinking behind the tools that drives me.
Whether I’m building a digital product or crafting a narrative experience, I lead with curiosity and stay grounded in intention.

This multidisciplinary foundation has shaped me into a designer who values empathy, curiosity, and intention. I strive to create solutions that are not only functional but also meaningful and resonate with users.
My Approach
My Approach
Whether it's a 'wicked problem' or just everyday life, here's how I like to approach things.

Empathy
Empathy is the foundation of how I approach design. I seek to understand people’s perspectives, emotions, and unspoken needs before offering solutions. Design, to me, is about creating with—not just for—others.

Curiosity
Curiosity fuels my process. I ask questions, explore the unexpected, and look beyond the obvious to uncover meaningful insights. It’s what drives me to challenge assumptions and approach each project with a fresh perspective.

Intention
I believe every design choice should serve a purpose. From the smallest interaction to the broader system, I aim for clarity, impact, and alignment with the project’s core values. My work is grounded in thoughtfulness.
What else do I do?
